Dominic Sibbring – Founder
Dominic honed his skills producing 2D layout drawings for large-scale construction projects whilst working for an M&E subcontractor before eventually moving to an M&E consultant as CAD manager. Recognising the growing need for projects to be delivered in BIM, he led the transition of the business from 2D AutoCAD to 3D Revit before being accredited as BIM Level 2 Certificated practitioner with the BRE.
Having graduated from Salford University with a Masters in BIM & The Digital Built Environment Dominic founded Digital Engineering Studio in 2018.
Favourite Project:
The Lexington, Liverpool – I enjoyed working on the Lexington so much as we were working for the contractor. Working for a contractor brings us closer to the project in terms of installation and an extra level of detail (LOD) required in the models and drawings.

Having graduated with a BSc (Hons) degree in Building Surveying James has a good understanding of the construction processes, completing working drawings, plans, and construction details and can rely on his experience to produce fully coordinated 3D M&E design models using the latest Autodesk AutoCAD/Revit software packages.

Conquest Hospital - East Sussex. The development of a new Multi-million pound Modular MRI facility (17 separate modules) which provided me with the opportunity to visit the offsite factory in Hull.

With a background in complex software, he was able to quickly transition into 3D Revit & Dynamo. Michael now leads our Content Creation service and has developed multiple scripts that improve project workflow & consistency.
Favourite Project:
Cleveland Clinic, Belgravia – Our initial brief was to create the BIM Families however our role developed and we’re now providing BIM assistance and attending regular Clash Detection meetings in London. It has been educational to work on a construction project from a specialist manufacturer’s point of view.

Digital Desmond – Mascot
I was created whilst my colleagues were experimenting with the possibilities of Revit – it only seemed fitting once I was ready that I join the team for moral support and light office duties.
