Falconer Chester Hall
Briggs & Forrester Living
Appointed by the M&E sub-contractor we were commissioned to deliver the BIM model and working drawings for The Lexington, a 34 storey tower on Liverpool's waterfront.
Following the BIM protocol and our client's own SMPs, we were asked us to produce installation-ready building service layouts and the corresponding coordinated model for the shell and core areas plus apartment types A-K.
With the drawings to be used on-site by the installation team, we had to ensure that the 3D model translated to 2D effectively. Every service layout was heavily dimensioned, tagged with invert levels and accompanied with sections to show intent.
From the 3 BIM models and using a team of 5 BIM coordinators, we delivered over 200 drawings including layouts for ventilation, piped services, lighting, small power & data, containment, fire alarm and builders work layouts for the 325 apartment building and corresponding car park.
